Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for increasing company revenue, across multiple products & services, by adding new customers to the LeadWerx client roster. The Business Development Manager will continuously move new client companies along the sales continuum by identifying, prospecting, contacting, qualifying, selling and closing new customers. This individual will coordinate with internal resources in the finance, engineering and marketing departments to successfully launch new products, negotiate client contracts and troubleshoot/expedite customer onboarding and set up.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Develop and drive client acquisition strategy
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling and networking
• Use consultative selling techniques to understand client needs and present LeadWerx solutions where applicable
• With a sense of urgency, obtain client financial commitments to use LeadWerx products
• Negotiate new client contracts
• Assist with client onboarding, act as liaison to troubleshoot potential issues between client and LeadWerx engineering teams
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for revenue growth within the account
• Provide strategic, competitive and product feedback to marketing personnel and executive team
• Monitor market activity, analyze positioning, and identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase company revenues.
• Generate prospective client and existing client opportunity forecast reports and subsequently executing on that analysis to ensure revenue growth.
• Oversee the development and distribution of marketing tools, messaging and sales creatives used in the sales process.
• Work with internal development team to update and enhance sales process capabilities and tracking/reporting methods as necessary.
• Present regular analysis reports including number of prospects contacted, sold and retained
• Represent company at related trade shows and conferences.
• Speak and conduct seminars at industry events.

Qualifications:
• Verifiable, documented track record of meeting or exceeding sales goal
• Must be able to “hit the ground running” with minimal training time, supervision or direction.
• BA/BS Required
• Minimum 1-7 years of sales / business development in advertising, digital media, online marketing or related field
• Experience prospecting and self generating leads used in the sales process
• Track record of success in heavy cold calling environment
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and grow relationships through prospecting
• Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
• Must possess strong knowledge of the online marketing / advertising industry
• A proven negotiator who can build strong partnerships
• Strong organizational, analytical, presentation and problem solving skills
• Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics and make decisions regarding campaign direction based on your analysis.
• The ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously over a variety of mediums
• The willingness to embrace and understand new concepts
• Understanding and knowledge of online marketing channels (PPC, SEO, email marketing, media buys, etc.)
• Thorough understanding of online creative strategy development.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project-management and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
• PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Generation of advertising / marketing sales revenue in excess of $100,000 per month
